By now you should have received a letter from Bourns ® regarding the transfer of both the sales and manufacturing of their outside plant Network Interface Device products to TDI in Post Falls, Idaho. TDI is a long time manufacturer of NID type products. Many of the current Bourns product offerings were originally designed and manufactured by us during the Joslyn Electronic System days.
Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible. We have a thorough knowledge of the product line and manufacturing. All of the Bourns® part numbers will be maintained and the majority of Bourns® current pricing will be maintained (with some exceptions) through June 30, 2019. We will issue updated price sheets ahead of June 30, 2019 which may or may not include price changes for the following 6 months. You may also note that some of the low usage items may now indicate “Call for Quote”. There are a few other older low usage products such as the 7101’s, 7041’s, and 7043’s that you will no longer find on the list.
Starting December 17th, all orders normally placed with Bourns® will now be sent to TDI for processing.
